Ram Indian Curry in Mito

We’ve been to Ram Indian Curry in Mito a couple of times now. The food is really good and quite affordable. They have a second location in Mito across the street from Mito City Hall.

The location close to Akatsuka Station in Mito recently moved to a new location. We decided to check it out. The new location was next door to their old building which had been recently demolished. The interior of the new restaurant looked great. They had a variety of tables and bar seats that could accommodate any party size. We really liked the mural they had that covered an entire side of the wall. They even had a separate room for large groups or parties.

Ram Menu

The menu at Ram revolved around their extensive variety of curries. The lunch menu had seven curries available while the dinner menu had the full spectrum of 16 different varieties. We recommend the set menu since it comes with at least two curries, nan, and a drink. We usually order a Rubini set and get the butter chicken and chicken koruna curries. To drink we always get the mango lassi which is a creamy mango beverage.

Whenever our food comes out, the first thing that we notice is the size of the nan. It’s always huge and completely fills up the plate. The curry at Ram is delicious. It is well spiced and the meat is always tender and tasty. We like to dip the hot nan into the curry. The salad dressing despite its color is soy based and adds some nice texture.

Final Thoughts

One thing that we appreciate at Ram is that the server will ask you what level of spice you would like. Our spice tolerance is non existent, so we always ask for sweet. We enjoy the food every time we come to Ram Indian Curry in Mito. If your looking for delicious and affordable Indian Curry in Mito, then we highly recommend Ram.
