Port Side Kitchen is located in Haneda Airport Terminal 3. It’s on the 4th floor along Edo Ko-ji, an area that resembles an Edo period shopping street. There are many other restaurants in the area. It’s located in an area prior to the airport security gates.

The interior of the restaurant has a good number of seats. There is a large counter in the shape of an L that wraps around an open view kitchen. The opposite wall has a number of tables and chairs.

The inside of the kitchen is behind a glass window, but we can clearly see the chefs preparing the food with a sense of urgency. It was pretty cool to see behind the scenes of an active kitchen. The chiefs impressively juggled multiple orders at the same time.
Port Side Kitchen Menu

We appreciate how the menu is already translated into multiple languages. This is a good idea, as a majority of Port Side Kitchen’s patrons are foreigners from abroad. Most of the patrons in the restaurant are getting a bite to eat before their flights.
The menu comprises primarily of curry dishes with a variety of meat combinations to choose from. They also had a rather large selection alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. We were thinking of trying some of their curry when we saw their garlic fried rice with wagyu steak. We are huge garlic fried rice and steak fans, so we decided to share a garlic fried rice with wagyu steak.
Port Side Kitchen Food Review

The soup had a nice lite salty flavor that kept us wanting more. All of the entrees on the menu came with the soup. A little while later our fried rice came out. The presentation was nice, with the slices of wagyu steak beautifully displayed on a pillow of garlic fried rice. The addition of fried onions and green onion enhanced the flavor of each bite. The side of pickled vegetables added a nice contrasting sour flavor.
Final Thoughts
The garlic fried rice with wagyu streak from Port Side Kitchen in Haneda was delicious. It was pretty pricey though and we felt compelled to share. All in all, we recommend the garlic fried rice with wagyu streak if you come to Port Side Kitchen in Haneda.
